The north south divide: myth or reality?

Peggy - Unity, Sioux Lookout

Peggy Sanders moved to Sioux Lookout when she was 18 and never left. This astute and elegant woman listed diversity, inclusion and unity as core values that characterize the North and that influence the lives of the residents. She takes pride in the fact that she raised her four children while remaining actively involved in community life. For several decades, Peggy was the town librarian. This photograph was taken in the Catholic Church. Although Peggy belongs to the Anglican Church, the Catholic priest agreed to open up the church for the photo shoot.
