The north south divide: myth or reality?

The museum of Karl Friesen, Sioux Lookout

Karl Friesen is not an ordinary man. He possesses the daring of a pilot who has flown in the North for 25 years, the kindness of a man who relishes the silence of riding a horse through the woods, and the determination of a man with a mission. Some years ago, tugboats were used to haul people and goods across the lake. Now, these same tugboats sit rotting in the bush. Karl's mission is to restore them and turn this "tugboat cemetery" into a vibrant historical site.
